Accounting Assistant
Job Summary

Working closely with the family office members, Financial Analysts, and Accountants to manage office operations including but not limited to accounting related projects.The accounting assistant will prepare financial statements and analytical schedules in order to aid decision making on investment projects. The Accounting assistant is also responsible for obtaining and recording financial data for use in maintaining accounting records and also provides assistance and administrative support in the business office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and exceptional organizational skills. You must be able to handle multiple projects, prioritize and work independently. 

Essential Skills
  • Strong knowledge of the accounting procedures and best practices to ensure accurate data input and timely processing is required. 

  • Applicant should be highly motivated & energetic, proficient in written & spoken English, and capable of handling diverse office tasks – ranging from general administration, correspondence & basic bookkeeping to special projects.

  • Candidate must have the ability to multi-task, solve problems and suggest solutions. 

  • The ability to handle confidential information. 

Qualifications
  • Candidate should have accounting background or an undergraduate degree in business or economics. CGA/CPA/CA credentials, or complete CGA level 3 is an asset.

  • Fluent in English. Mandarin is an asset.
